Seawater Intrusion in the Salinas Valley - Animation

Seawater Intrusion is a problem unique to coastal communities and especially affects the communities that rely on aquifers in the Salinas Valley for water. In an effort to educate these communities about this hard-to-see problem affecting their groundwater, The Salinas Valley Basin Groundwater Sustainability Agency asked my team and I to create this video. My role for this project involved animating and commissioning the voice-over talent while one of my coworkers drafted a script in conjunction with a scientist on our client's team.

Because of highly detailed needs of this video's topic, care was taken for my coworker and I to consult with the client scientist multiple times throughout the drafting and animation process to ensure the final product was factual and detailed, requiring multiple drafts to arrive at a suitable product.
